Biophysical Profile (BPP)

Diagnostic scan Biophysical profile is a health check up for your baby. Starting at 28 weeks a biophysical profile is performed and scored out of 8. The baby gets 2 points for at least 3 movements, 2 points for tone (flexing or extending extremities), 2 points for 30 seconds of practiced breathing, and 2 points for amniotic fluid index. This scan can take up to 30 minutes. We will also check for position of baby.

To cancel or reschedule, please call (917)920-1685. There is a 15 minute grace period, after 15 minutes your appointment will be canceled. There will be a 30% non-refundable fee for any cancellations within 24 hrs of the appointment. Cancellations without 24-hour notice will automatically forfeit deposits. No Call/No show requires a new appointment and a new deposit.
